Hijab in Islam, is basically a “dress code” for Muslim women in public. Many perceive hijab as “traditional” and a form of oppression; but truth is, hijab protects and safeguards women from harassment! The wisdom behind hijab is to minimize sexual enticement and most importantly, it is a form…
“A lot of the pain you are experiencing right now is actually fear. Fear of things being different then how you liked them, fear of never finding love again, fear of being alone, fear of having to fill your time differently. We’re afraid of the unknown.”—It’s Called a Breakup Because It’s Broken (via raindropsonredroses)
Mulberry’s SS 11 collection looks stunning. The illustrated brick walls and huge coral flowers provided a perfect scene for the elegant collection. Satchels appear to live on and the Polly Push Lock belted trench is a must have. Oh and don’t forget to team denim and chestnut together for the summer.
Remember my last post? All I want for 2011 is the patience to pull through this year. It aches when I can’t move faster. It terrifies me when I think about how I can’t possibly run to save my life, for now. Walking out and about just now made me feel damn worried. I need to grab on the rails while going up and down staircases, sit while putting on my shoes, stabilise myself first before getting up. You get the idea. I couldn’t even play a simple game which required some blindfolds because my sense of balance would go haywire, no kidding. I’d fall on my butt in seconds. :/
I’m really scared about how I’m gonna cope in school on Monday, with all the stairs and all. I can’t risk falling again because now my lower back feels funny.
Oh Allah, please grant me the patience and strength to endure the pain and instability just a little bit more. Amin.
“I automatically assume people won’t like me, so I don’t talk to them unless they approach me first. I can’t become a part of a crowd because I can’t get past that feeling that I don’t belong.”—Stephanie Kuehnert (via iopenedpandorasbox)
